Alabama man killed when motorcycle strikes tree and fence, state troopers say

An Alabama man was killed Sunday night when his motorcycle struck a tree, then a fence, state troopers said.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m. Sunday, and claimed the life of a Hayden man.
Johnnie J. Lindsey Jr., 53, was fatally injured when the 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was operating left the roadway, struck a tree, and then struck a fence.
Lindsey was not using a helmet at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Blount County 11 near Skyball Road, approximately 11 miles south of Blountsville, in Blount County.
