An Alabama man has been charged with capital murder in the shooting death of a 5-year-old boy killed as he was getting a haircut.

Police have arrested Kendrick Rondell O’Neal, 26, and charged him with the murder of Brandon Jamal Nation III.

Police said Nation was getting his hair cut by a 25-year-old man who was also shot and critically injured. The shooting happened at 10:15 a.m. Sunday at at residence on Seventh Avenue North.

Investigators said O’Neal was one of three people who allegedly pulled up to the house and opened fire riddling the house with bullets.

The other suspects are being sought, police said.
