Alabama woman killed in head-on collision, state troopers say

An Alabama woman was killed Tuesday evening when her car collided head-on with another vehicle, state troopers said.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 5:41 p.m. Tuesday, and claimed the life of a Brundidge, Alabama, woman.
Glenda Marie Richards, 42, was fatally injured when the 2010 Nissan Maxima she was driving collided head-on with the 2018 Toyota Rav4 driven by Ellie Michelle Flaat, 21, of Enterprise, Alabama.
Richards was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene, state troopers said. Flaat was transported to a local area hospital for medical treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama 125 near the 18 mile marker, approximately 8 miles south of Brundidge, in Coffee County.
