Authorities say a motorcycle collided with a pedestrian last week killing a man who has not yet been identified.

Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said the adult black male was walking on Aaron Aronov Drive in Fairfield, Alabama, on Friday night when he was struck by a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle stopped and called for help.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Yates said.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating the incident.
