We’ll have another sunny, hot, and humid day across Alabama Wednesday, but some rain chances finally move into one region Wednesday night and Thursday.

Northern Alabama could have a shower or two overnight, then a shower or thunderstorm before dawn Thursday morning. Then, most of the state will have decent rain chances Thursday, especially northern and central Alabama. We’ll see what models show Wednesday evening, but some dry yards and farms could get some much-needed shower activity over the next couple of days.

North Alabama

Mostly sunny with a high near 91. A slight chance of a shower overnight with a low of 73.

Central Alabama

Mostly sunny with a high of 94. Partly cloudy Wednesday night with a low of 74.

South Alabama

Fog early, then sunny with a high of 96. Partly cloudy with a low of 74.

Gulf Coast

Sunny with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. High of 100 and a heat index of 108. Mostly clear overnight with a low of 76.
