Alabama woman killed when her car strikes mailbox, culvert and then a house

An Alabama woman was killed Friday morning when her car struck a mailbox, culvert and ultimately a house, state troopers said.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 8:35 a.m. Friday, and has claimed the life of a Town Creek woman.
Mary C. Lindley, 47, was critically injured when the 2010 Nissan Maxima she was driving left the roadway, striking a mailbox, a culvert and then a house.
Lindley was transported to the Lawrence County Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The crash occurred on Alabama 36 near the 8 mile marker approximately eight miles south of Moulton, in Lawrence County.
