Alabama Skies: One final nice day before stormy weather arrives
Published 1:30 am Thursday, April 20, 2023
We’ll have one last sunny day before a day or two of rainy weather moves into Alabama as a strong cold front arrives.
Thursday will be much warmer with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. It’s also going to be quite breezy with some places having wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour.
We’re still thinking the risk for severe weather is extremely low, even though the cold front is brining a drastic temperature change. A few people may have a strong thunderstorm, but we’re not expecting anything widespread as far as damaging storms.
If you’re out and about in southern Alabama this morning, use caution. There is a dense fog advisory.
North Alabama
Sunny with a high of 84. Partly cloudy tonight with a low of 59.
Central Alabama

Gulf Coast
Dense fog advisory early. Becoming sunny with a high of 82. Mostly clear tonight with a low of 56.
