A freak accident killed an Alabama woman after she was run over with her own car in the parking lot of a hospital.

Jefferson County Coroner’s Office officials said Sharon Bush White, 76, of McCalla, Alabama, was killed Wednesday afternoon in the parking lots of St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Investigators believe White exited her car without putting the transmission into park causing the vehicle to run over her.

Police are investigating but believe her death to be accidental.=
