Alabama Skies: A few more strong storms for part of the state possible

We’ll begin the day with a few more strong or even severe storms possible for central and southern parts of the state before we begin clearing out. Although widespread severe weather isn’t expected by morning, the National Weather Service in Birmingham still has the potential for a severe storm or two possible with even a weak tornado spinning up in central and southern regions.
Once we get rid of these last few storms, we’ll have sunshine across the state. It will also be quite windy with gusts up to 40 miles per hour possible in North Alabama and 35 miles per hour in central Alabama.
North Alabama
Sunny with a high near 75. Clear tonight with a low of 37.
Central Alabama
