A U.S. military training airplane crashed Tuesday after both pilots safely ejected, sources reported.

The plane was a T-68 Texan II assigned to the Training Air wing 5 at Naval Air Station Whiting Field, near Milton, Florida.

Both pilots were treated for minor injuries. The plane crashed in Baldwin County late Tuesday morning, west of County Road 87 in the Gateswood community.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
