Two men are dead in what officials believe was a murder-suicide in a Tuscaloosa paper plant parking lot Monday night.

Local news sources report that officers from the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded to a shooting at the Dixie Pulp & Paper plant on Commerce Drive after 11:30 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived they found two men dead in the parking lot.

Both men were reportedly employees at the paper plant. The shooting incident occurred after shift change.

After reviewing surveillance video and talking to witnesses, officials believe Demorius Mondreal Polke, 27, shot Sean Michael Barret multiple times before turning the gun on himself.

Officials say the shooting is under investigation and evidence is still being collected to determine a possible motive.
