Authorities in the Birmingham area are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Alabama teen.

The Adamsville Police Department reports that Nerrisa Janice Kirby, 16, was last seen about 11 a.m. Monday leaving her home. Adamsville is located in western Jefferson County, north of the Birmingham suburb Pleasant Grove.

Police posted on Facebook that Nerrisa has a medical history but did not offer any additional information about the case.

Anyone with information about Kirby is asked to call Adamsville police at 205-674-8760.
