The Latest: Alabama coronavirus cases top 4,000; every county in state affected

Alabama Public Health officials announced the state’s latest numbers from the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

Alabama has 4,113 positive cases and 121 reported deaths from the disease. The disease has now been recorded in every county in the state.

Across the state, 525 Alabama residents are hospitalized from COVID-19 related symptoms. Yesterday the state reported 213 patients were in ICU and 130 required mechanical ventilation.

Alabama reported 639 hospital or healthcare workers were among those testing positive for the virus.
