Police bust alleged gambling operation at Alabama gas station, seize gambling machines

Decatur police arrested a convenience store owner and one of his employees this week and seized five alleged illegal gambling devices from the store.

Police report they received complaints from citizens about an illegal gambling operation run out of a Sunoco gas station in the city. Investigators conducted an undercover operation at the facility and determined they had grounds for an arrest.

Arrested were store owner Ameen Alhubaishi and employee Sakher Saef.

They were arrested on charged of promoting gambling.

Police seized five gambling machines at the business.
