A Jemison, Alabama, man was killed during the Thursday night in a single-vehicle ATV wreck.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 59-year-old Ovis Rhodes Jr. was killed when the 2017 Honda Rancher he was driving left the road and overturned on Chilton County 163, near Chilton County 51, which is approximately four miles north of Jemison.

The crash occurred at 9:37 p.m.

“Rhodes was not using a helmet and was ejected,” said ALEA in a release. “He was pronounced dead at the scene. Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.”
